A mixed round of results last week in Round 15. Our best bet landed with North proving too good for the Suns, however we were only 2/4 with our recommended bets after Collingwood and GWS suffered disappointing losses. Our tips went 5/9 for the round.
Round 16 has been up in the air somewhat after all 18 teams were forced to relocate to Victoria after Covid related lockdowns all around the country. A few teams will be playing in unfamiliar territory with Geelong set to host two interstate teams in an AFL match for the first time in its history.
Round 16 kicks off Thursday night with a bit of meh game between the Suns and Tigers which has been relocated to Marvel Stadium.
The Suns have been woeful and the Tigers are coming off the back of a terrible loss to St.Kilda. It would be good to see a competitive match, but it feels like the Tigers are going to come out fighting. Watch for Tom Lynch to return to the side and kick a bag against his old team.
Friday night’s game looks a little more appealing with the Bombers heading down the highway to take on Geelong. There could be some weather around, and while that probably suits the Cats, it might also keep the scoreboard tighter. Essendon have shown they can be competitive against the best teams, and their midfield is playing really well, so taking the Bombers at the line looks the play.
The other games look a little tricky from a betting perspective, but we’ll stick with the Pies to bounce back against the Saints, and the Power to be too strong for the Hawks.
